This book was written by Samuel Smith Travers and appeared in the same year that he constructed his court in Hobart, 1875. Travers included photos of three prominent professionals of the day, Edmund Tompkins, Edmond Barre and Thomas Stone; the latter came out to the colonies to take on the role of Travers' professional. A facsimile edition was published by Michael Garnett's Historical Publications in 1985 and is almost as rare as the original. Copies of both editions are in the RMTC Library.
